I love watching honing videos, and I love seeing Japanese naturals. Your video combined both. I have no experience honing Japanese straights, but thanks for the video, it was entertaining.
What are the dimensions on your Nakayama? (It's a Nakayama isn't it?)

Thanked: 131I have EXACTLY the same hone to this. On advice I had only been using it as a finishing stone so far. It looks like a slurry would give much better results. Thank you very much!
