    Default issards rasoir paste

i am considering getting some issard rasior pate to put on my canvas.I have been using 1.0 0.5 diamond paste from classic which is'nt local as i'm from uk. Any one recomend the issards paste how does it compare to .5 dp?

I would use it in between honings followed by chro .5 and after honings .

I don't have direct experience with their paste in terms of using it myself. But I've experienced two blades that RasurPur used the TI paste on, and they're some of my best shavers.

Well the RasurPur website says this about it:

"This sharpening paste can be used for any straight razor and polishes like an 10.000 grit Japanese waterstone."
Follow the link below and click on "Sharpening Paste."

    Hi,

I used the TI paste on my 3" TI paddle strop, and found it glued the pile of the suede leather together !
The paste is very hard, and I found it difficult to apply evenly, and it tended to clump (it has fibres in it).
I might be doing something wrong ; I would appreciate it if somebody could tell me a good way to apply it to the TI strop.

    Best regards

    Russ

I applied it to the "rough" side of my Travel paddle strop. What I did was to apply some heat to the bar of paste (a lighter at a reasonable distance), then apply it to the strop using the bar as a crayon, and once applied, , I apply some more heat to the pasted strop with a blow drier so I could spread it better....

No idea if this is a good method, but seemed to work...

    Regards
