    Default Suede Covered Paddle Strop

I picked up a suede covered paddle strop from Woodcraft when I ordered their 12K Chinese water stone. I've yet to try it, heck I don't have any compound, but was wondering if anyone had.
I strop my razor with my eyes closed.

I have several Paddle Strops. Two of them are used for pastes. Diamond 1.0. .50 and .25 and Chromium Oxide. I also have SRD's new Paddle Strop, Leather both sides, except one of the Leather's is not finished, so it's like a rough suede. The SRD paddle is too nice to paste. I like it the way it is. Pasted Paddles are great. Good for the occasional touch up, and also after a honing session as your finisher. I've heard of guys rolling their edges due to repeated uses of pastes. Eventually, you will need to take your blades to the rocks.
