Thanked: 1371Nani 1K/3K which side is which?
Along with my other Nani's that I just got, there is a 1K/3K combo. The label on it is in Japanese. I, unfortunately, cannot read Japanese.
So...
Which side is which? They both feel the same when I run my finger over the top of the stones. One stone is a tan-brown color, and the other stone is more of a reddish color.
By the way, this is the 1K/3K waterstone combo. These are not superstones.
And off topic personal rant... The rest of my Nani's are superstones. Maybe I should just ditch this combo and get superstones to replace it.Last edited by HNSB; 01-10-2010 at 02:07 AM. Reason: Added some info

Thanked: 1371Ok, I found my own answer, but just in case someone in the future does a search with the same question:
Small Naniwa Combination Stone Grit 1000/3000
The beige (tan-brown) side is the 3K
The red-brown side is the 1K
