I believe its theperfectedge.com run by howard Schecter. I got mine from him and have been using them more often these days. The Blue is equivilent to the Norton 4000 though its slower and the yellow is similar to the 8K but I think puts a finer edge on than the Norton 8K. The yellow is pricey but I think well worth it. he does have them in different sizes and grades.

Randy, Actually, my first career was as a stone cutter. I carved Indiana limestone and marble for various architectural firms and had a small business doing lettering and carving for restoration projects.

Stonemeister may not be that bad....

    Fun work!!

Let me ask a question Mr. Stonemeister , if you were inclined to cut down a Norton Combo (the 4K/8K of course) how would you recomend doing it?
I have toyed around a little and find that both sides are very soft and easy to cut, however I would hate to ruin the bonding material with heat. I was thinking of using a Jewelers saw with diamond blade, to keep from bringing any significant heat to the stone that a powered cutting wheel might bring.

I still havent convinced my self that cutting a $60 hone is a good idea... but I'm on the edge so to speak.

Well, after looking at the prices, I'm going to hold off and continue using my Norton. I'm also not buying anymore razors until the one's I have are restored. We're saving up for a new/used bike.
