    Default Single Bevel Hone

How would you hone a single bevel razor such as this:

    http://www.shavingshop.com/index.php?item=682&ret=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.shavingsho p.com%2Findex.php%3Fpage%3D1%26keyword%3Dbartmann

Same stones and method as a regular straight razor, just dont roll it over at the end of the stroke?

This is not a razor as such, it is a microtone. Originaly used in hospitals for cutting up tissue samples. I belive they can and have been honed by members here for shaving and would be done in the manner you described.

As pedro083 said, that is a microtome. They were made for slicing tissue samples. I mistakenly bought one when a seller on ebay only showed the hollow side in a cheap (relatively speaking) buy it now. Here is a thread on how I honed it up. Not saying it is the only way or even the correct way but it worked for me.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I've hone a microtome too; mine had a totally flat flat side (it was all one plane, like a true wedge on one side and a half hollow on the other). In order to hone mine, I taped a toothpick to the spine of the flat side. It was not ideal, but it worked and I was able to produce a shaving edge.
