It was more of a "this is interesting to think about" than a "I need to try this" kind of thought. Currently I am using (Okudo?) Shiro suita to Nakayama Namito to Nakayama Asagi after my Aoto or Ohira Tomae.

I see.
I use buffing compounds on Scotchbrite wheels for resto work rather than just the wheels alone. Seems a nicer polish. Maybe similar thinking.
LOL. I use an almost identical finishing progression except my Suita is a Shobudani stone.The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

my suita is either Shoubudani or Okudo. The seller was mostly sure it was Okudo.
It is an amazing hone.
