Thread: New Set of Naniwa Hones with questions

All in all there really have been few problems with these stones, but.......

My current 12K (I gave my old one to someone) was doing the same thing and actually came apart from the base. I re-glued it with Gorilla glue and re-lapped it and it has been working fine since.

I like the results well enough to forgive them this time.........

Actually, we could have ordered them without the bases, but I really thought that they were nice and easier to use with them and so far, I think that has overwhelmingly been the case.

I like mine. My 10K is 20mm and it does exhibit some shrink/swell at times. Hasn't been a problem, just something to be aware of.
