Thanked: 324I think that razor was limited by the quality of the steel. Large grains were popping up here and there and when the large grains get ground out, they sort of "rip" out of the steel, leaving those microscopic pores that you see at very high magnification. Believe it or not, that razor will now shave quite well and will get better with more stropping but the limiting factor is going to be the structure of the steel, itself. The better the steel, the better an edge it will take. If I can ever find a Pakistani piece of crap, I'll do a study on it, which I think will be pretty interesting. That steel is very poor.

That is just too awesome. I was just looking at a microscope with usb plug it goes up very high, but being as I'm filling up a checking account purely to release it all to Mr. Williams I decided not to buy it.
