    Man, if it looks that good at 250x, and it shaves well you are home free.

    Try getting it 'perfect', and shave with it a few times... then look at it. That should give you some perspective.

    i stopped using 200x plus and just use my 30k loop , as sham told me its the cutting edge and i was to ignore the bevel polish etc to a certain degree . if it shaves thats all that matters.

    I agree here... 60-100 is plenty... but if it shaves well you already know how your edge is.
