That is a fun video and a great haul. Those are nice looking razors, not just a beat up lot.
The last thing I honed was my diplomatic skills.

Nice score! Theres some real lookers in there, hope you enjoy 'em!
Hitting some antique stores is going to be on my list of things to do when I next come to the US. We're sadly lacking in razor related stuff in London, and what you do find is invariably overpriced.
I'll have to check out the video at home, as its blocked at work..!

Beautiful haul, that has to be exciting when you come across bundle like that. Attached is a note I just sent to a fellow SRPer this morning regarding touch ups and honing.
Morning Joe;
I got to try out the diamond spray on the Spyderco fine hone last night. I used it on my Iwasaki’s, the laminated Swedish steel and the Tamahaghane steel. My normal progression is to use the $500.00 J-Nat (expressly for the Tamahaghane) followed by the Yellow Green Escher with very light pressure. The kamisori is a different animal to hone due to the grind as you will discover.
I have never been over whelmed by the edge on the Tamahaghane razor which I told you at BJs if you recall. This time I just used the Spyderco with the diamond spray on both razors. Lynn used the term” Woke up” to describe the effects of the diamond spray. The diamond spray on the Spyderco fine hone really woke up the Tamahaghane Iwasaki!
Both razors passed the HHT. The Tamahaghane gave me the best shave I have been able to get out of it this morning. Yay. Basically I just stropped on leather after using the spray. Stropping techniques for the kamisori are a little different too from my experience.
The Swedish steel laminate Iwasaki did not exhibit the same effect. Perhaps it was not in as dire need of waking up as the Tamahaghane version. Perhaps it was the high carbon content of the Tamahaghane that responded to the spray. I don’t know. It definitely deserves more experimentation. Thanks for the Spyderco hone with the sample of diamond spray. What micron particulate size was it? I will order some.
Sincerely;
Mike

Nice haul indeed.
The last razor I honed was my 7/8s Zowada the other day. 3 layers of tape and about 100 strokes on the coticule and it's as right as rain.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Joe?????
Joe -- you thought you had your RAD under control?? I just checked the dictionary for "RAD" -- -- all it said was "see JoeD". Under control, my butt. God, I'm jealous.
