Thread: Pictures of ERN

Not sure if you can tell by the photos or not on how ground down the spine is. I had to shrink them quit a bit to upload them. Ignore the date, camera reset back to original manufactured date.
The edge had 3 fairly large nicks in it which I had removed with a 220 then 1000 then diamond and to a honing stone(not sure on grit) Carrie and JoeD gave me the name of a local store were I can pick up the stones or order if needed. I'll be working on it much more, as of now believe it or not I can shave with it with some burn but not a whole lot.
The spine was already ground down quite a bit when I got it. I had to put like 8 layers of tape over the spine to get close to the proper angle.
Any thoughts would greatly be appreciated.
