I always just omit the www. The way DNS works, you very rarely need it.
Acronyms are neutral in my book, but it's always fun to try and pronounce the ones without any vowels as words

I skip the "www" & ".com". You can just type, for example, "straightrazorplace" in the browser & hit control-enter. You can also call the www "tri-dub"

I remember the late night comedian David Letterman explaining how to reach the network's webpage. More or less: "Just open up your doublya doublya doublya, there, and type in, uh, doublya doublya doublya doublya dot NBC dot, uh, com or what-have-you, and if that doesn't work, just add on some more doublyas."

Actually, FFTH is an abbreviation not an acronym.

An abbreviation is a neologism that creates a shorter form of some longer word or phrase. For example, "str8" would be a popular abbreviation for the phrase "straight razor".
An acronym is, clearly, an abbreviation, because it takes a phrase and makes it shorter and more memorable. However, it does so through a very specific mechanism: it takes the first letter or letters from the major words of a compound phrase and combines them into a new word. In most cases, this word is also a neologism in that it doesn't usually form an acronymic word that's also a normal word.
Laser, formerly LASER, is an acronym: Light Amplification through Stimulated Emission of Radiation. Similarly, CIA: Central Intelligence Agency.
FFTH is clearly an acronym and not merely an abbreviation because it draws its meaning from the initial letters of "Fresh From The Hone".

Hal,
Good point, and good catch! I hadn't thought of it. SO, to make this an acronym, the conversation would have to go like this?
"My razor is sharper than yours!"
"Is not!"
"Is, too!"
"Is not!"
"Is, too!"
<putting thumbs in ears, wriggling fingers and sticking out tongue> "FFTH"!
