Thread: Bevel re-set

The last guy who advocated bread-knifing around here as I recall we executed.

That word should only be invoked as the nuclear option when trying to save an otherwise "as toast" razor.

Ive restored a few and breadknifed only one time on a razor with a chip and smile going the wrong way.....its a nuclear option

The only time I ever bread knifed a razor was due to the fact that it was frowning so much that it made me sad in return and I took my sadness out on my hone.

I dropped a Wapi once--chipping it nicely--& made the mistake of trying to BK the chip out. After months of on & off work w/ it on a D8C, I can still see the thickness of the bevel tip w/ my naked eye... Probably junked the razor, but at least it was cheap.
