    Wow, wonder how many times he cut himself in his early years. Very cool to watch a master craftsman at work, they make it seem so easy.

    Livi certainly is a master, and I know "different strokes for different blokes," but his honing/stropping just seems volatile. It obviously works, but it really does look like he's going to slash that loom-strop in half every time he wacks the razor down.

    Agreed. I've decided to simply use him as an example of the idea that there is no "right way" and there really aren't any "rules". If it works, it works. If it defies logic...try it anyway...on a cheap razor
