Occasionally they show up on E-bay. I've got two, one was sent to me by my mother (was my grandfather's); the other I found at a junk shop for under a buck. The cheapest I've seen one go for on E-bay was about $20.

I did a search on ebay last night. found 1. Desription: In good condition except for crack about a 1/3 of the way down!
I will keep checkin on ebay.

It's not an original Austrian Swaty, but Tilly sells a NOS_ Premier_, 'Swaty' type hone. It is quite a bit smaller than the original Swatys, and it's made of a very different composite too. Even so, the _Premier_ is one of my preferred touch up hones. I keep one handy beside my rotation in my bathroom. Four or five light passes on the Premier will refresh an edge very effectively.

I should also mention, that those who have a Lithide hone, when used dry, should find that it also works very well for refreshing a razor that has just begun to lose its edge.

They are regularly sold on ebay, so keep checking and don't be hasty. I've won some for around 15 USD that were in almost mint condition a couple of years ago. Austrian Swatys have two surfaces, one side is slightly coarser than the other (according to the instructions that I have), so be sure the one you are bidding on is damage free on both sides!

I'm not in any big hurry since the Lithide should be here today. Just wanted to know where to start looking and if they were still being produced.

The price was a bit exy ,but worth it

Bend over in a boys lockerroom. You'll get a wet towel swaty.

I think I have one. Found it of all places on a Google search. Picture showed it in excellent condition. Box also in good shape with papers. I emailed the seller Auntie B's antique auction. Price was $25+$6.00 Shipping. Sounded like a fair enough price if it's in as good a condition as she says it is.
    Got my fingers crossed!!!!!!!!!

Probably arrive in at least 3 pieces.
