Thread: lapping norton for hours

I really want to get the hones out again. I just have to figure how to explain how I got em to the wife since she does not know I got em yet. I doubt she knows how much they cost but I think I'll wait till she is at work tomorrow. Or I may be in for it.I checked the bevel I do have at 40X and it is even and clean not that it does any good if it is not the length of the blade but I'll take what little victory I can.

Har har, that's the best one I heard yet. You can go out and buy that $1200 livi and tell the wife you were given it for testing and then just stash it somewhere.

Still have not told the wife but anyway....... I honed two razors today. I shaved with both and got as close a shave as I do with the razor I bought here at the classifieds that came shave ready. WOOHOO!! bad thing is now I'm gonna need more razors to hone......
