Thumbs up Hang it, dang it

From all the posts this hanging hair test gets and all the ignored comments from experienced honers that the hanging hair test is not the ne plus ultra of shave readiness tests, I'm surprised that no entrepreneur has started marketing "test hairs".

So many seem to be convinced of the HHT validity that it should be properly exploited. You get your razor to a hoped shaving edge, you test it with the wig stuffer Blond #5 and you get no hung hair cut response. So you hone some more and finally get some Blond #5 to hit the floor. We've passed the HHT; the razor may not shave for spit, but it passed the HHT. As a result, we have happy campers all over the place.

So, guys, let's get some Blond #5 and Brunette #2 out to the public so the hair hangers will finally find joy at their local Mudvilles.

    Cool

Laugh if you must hehehe, but I bought her a purple brush that she has to use if she uses my shower, I never touch that brush except if I wanna try HHT,,, My hair sux as a sharpness indicator, it will pop at 1k no problem, hers won't pop until after final stropping...

If her hair pops HHT it is time for a shave test

This difference is exactly why I pretty much laugh at the HHT1-5 BS and that if it won't pop it ain't shave ready BS You really have to work it out with the hair you have available.. We are only two people in our house and the difference in the HHTability of our hair is huge !!!! I just made that word up

Luckily I have arm & leg stubble for a simulated shave test

I used to--now I have big, noticeable bald patches all over the place--like I got into a fight w/ a badger & lost! Good thing it's not shirtsleeve-weather! What did we used to call that, "razor-mange"...?

I always know I'm not honing enough when my arm hair grows back. Glen might be onto something selling hair
