What kind of razors are we talking about? because there are problems known to honing TI´s on coticules.

Another hint: Make the slurry lighter than you think. That was one of my main mistakes, when starting coticule honing. If you use a too thick slurry, it´ll dull your blade and if you dilute it too fast, your edge will lack keeness. If the slurry is too thin, it just takes you longer.
And, as long as I´m not in the finishing stage (I mean the last 50-100 X-strokes), I use pressure. I know, people say not to, but it works for me (on a coticule!).
