That reminds me of a story about a buddy of mine a few years back.
He was, in his own eyes, a ladies man at the time. Going out every weekend hitting on girls constantly.
    Alas, without much success.
To prepare the guy for when he actually would get lucky, we told him about modern men and what was required in this day and age.
You know, about shaving the chest and more.

Well, he went home and after a couple of hours he showed up again happy as could be.
He said he was ready now, and decided to show us what he had done.
The poor lad had actually shaved everything all the way down to his knees!!
After 15 minutes of hysterical laughter we finally asked him what the humpfh he had done, he just said: I didn't know where to stop!
    ScottGoodman and LinacMan like this.

Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

I'm glad you guys brought up welding-When my son was in high school I told him to take shop class,as the skills he would learn would come in handy for the rest of his life,to make a long story short, not only didn't they teach them much on parents night I asked his teacher where the welder was,or at least the tanks for brazing-because that's where I learned to do both, and this guys said "we don't do that anymore,we teach them how to remove and replace the parts that are broken"- I ask you guys ,isnt that a crock? Really p*ssed me off these are the teachers of today.

It's like they are setting them up for failure. I do not get it a trade you can do with your hands is something you can do the rest of your life. I did not take welding in high school I learned it on the job about 10 years ago I really wish I had the chance to take it in a setting with an instructor it would have been a lot less painless that way, I got thrown to the wolves with a QC standing over my shoulder with only a month of practice under my belt. i had to show up at the fab shop at 4am just to practice after that my boss put me in a helicopter and shipped me off to an off shore oil rig. I was not very confident, but I pulled it off so now I get thrown to the wolves alll the time oh and I get chucked under the bus alot to. I guess thats why I get along where i work cause I always come back grinnin
