I have also started to use tape (9mm is pathetic, it's tacky and I hate it. I don't think you can go past an M60 fired from the hip, really... though an 80mm Carl Gustav anti tank weapon is fun, esp firing illum rounds, as are RBS70 Surface to Air Missiles, but now I'm going off on a tangent from the tangent) I shall continue to use tape..the tape I currently use is yellow...
Seriously, though, I do understand the logic in regards to angles, etc.

I followed this link hibudgl100's Channel - YouTube last night from another post here. He talked of layers of tape, etc at the end. It makes really good sense, he puts it in a really matter of fact way without any BS...I also found 'Straight Razor Sharpening Part 1' very beneficial...
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Advanced search shows 68 threads with tape as the key word and "search titles only" ..... 5 pages of 20 threads per page with "search entire posts" as the search criteria. Do the advanced search with "find posts by user" with gssixgun as the search criteria and "tape" as the keyword and there are 120 thread entries. No wonder yer gettin' tired of it.

.357 mag, 125gr hollow point through just about anything should do the trick. I own a lot of rifles and a lot of shotguns. I own only one handgun and it has only one purpose. It is a .357 mag and its a wheel gun. If I ever find myself in a running gun battle where I need 8,9,10 shots, I've done something really stupid.

7.62 is .308 and if you have ever shot at a target with a bridge or a window in the the path,, you wouldn't think it was so great.... It has a lot the arc while in flight... I like the 7rem mag.. Flatter trajectory without the .300 win mag pain...

I tried the tape tonight on an Azuma that has't seen a hone in about 50 years. I must say that it went much faster and i had bbs edge within about a half an hour.. That is fast for me anyway..
