No. For the purpose of flattening a hone for use, you really don't need micrometer flatness.
The error in the sandpaper (which is soft as well -> variable flatness) alone is much worse than the variations in the glass.onimaru55 likes this.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.
