    Default Natural stone ID

I was at a local antique mall today and saw this stone, I paid $12 for it and it looks like S!*%, like a dang bear got ahold of it. But it is a natural stone I am almost certain by the veins you can see in the side photo and it is very fine where the chips are and you can see bare stone. Please someone tell me I scored a sweet finishing stone on the cheap. here's the pics. Let me know if I need to take more.

I'm certainly no expert but it looks like a Coticule to me. Nice find!

Looks like a combo coti, clean her up and lets get a proper look at her.

Sorry I posted this from my phone, I might have put it in the wrong sub-forum. Oh well if it needs to be moved, I'm sorry.

Yeah that is what I thought it was when I bought it. The guy said it was from the 1800's, how he know that is beyond me, just figure they would say anything to make a sale

Might take a good bit of lapping, but for $12, sounds like a good deal. What are the dimensions of it?

Here's some pictures of it after lapping, I am waiting on my select combo slurry stone from The Superior Shave.
