Strong Chemicals + Razor scales = Potential Disaster..

Not always, not every time, but when you melt the pivot outta a prize razor your going to wish you hadn't used the chemicals..

Naptha = Bad
Acetone ie: fingernail polish = really bad
Goo Gone = I haven't ever read the label

Basically anything that makes yer head jerk back when you smell it, I would keep away from razor scales...

Again they are your razors so you do what you want

Agreed but I will use Hopps #9 (i have tons) on a cotton cloth VERY sparingly over just the spine when needed.
