Yes, I created a thread in the introduction section.

I feel I made two major mistakes causing a not so pleasant experience, LOL. The first was likely not lapping my stone enough/correctly. I did the pencil grid, however I only lapped it once. Secondly, I believe I may have not been applying enough pressure on the 1k grit. I could see a gap in some spots where the razor met the stone, however I didn't think twice at the time.
