    20 circles and 20 X on a Norton 4K.
20 heel first and 20 X on a Norton 8K. At this point it was popping hairs.
Went to 20 X strokes on my PHIG. The blade was completely dull at this point. It wouldn't cut hair at all.

My stone has a small dark vein across the middle. Even after the stone is lapped, the blade tends to stick when I cross the vein.
It would be kool to show a picture of your stone. 20 laps is not near done enough on these C-nats because they are 3-4 times slower than your average stone. Most of us do around 100 laps and I do as well, and they cut/polish a lot faster with slurry.

Razor: Wolf, Lane & Co. (made by H. Boker) "killed the edge"
    Stone Progression: King 1K, Norton 4K/8K, C-Nat
Method: 40 circles then finishing with an X stroke but before every X stroke I back hone about a half inch with the heel leading slightly(same method as the progression to each stone). Raised a light slurry on my C-Nat, 40 circles each side working the slurry with very little pressure. Then used the X stroke with back honing a half inch before every stroke. Ended with using no pressure other than the weight of the blade. The lighter the pressure I would go until it would feel like a suction sensation until I was using almost negative pressure of the weight of the blade.
Stropping: 60 on denim, 30 on cowhide, and 100 laps on Horsehide

Results: I have not shaved completely with it yet, but I tested the edge shaving a little to get a feel and it slices clean and very close. Even before stropping it had an amazing edge.

That's the slurry stone my C-Nat came with, it's exactly the same as the stone.

Tyler, it's a smaller piece of c12k used as a slurry stone. Check here in the classifieds, bottom ad.

I didn't see any reason to continue it as it was obviously getting dull. This is the third razor I've tried on this PHIG with the same result.
I went back to the 8k and the sharpness came back.

You can see the dark vein in the middle. After lapping I can't feel it at all, but the razor seems to. I feel a lot of drag at that spot.
I've tried it with slurry and without.
