Thanked: 104We most agree that for lapping naniwa's or other waterstones, the DMT D8C is what most of us use. In Australia we pay $77.00 as far as identifying each stone, the DMT is the brand D, for diamond for 8 its inches and C for coarse. Otherwise known by one and all as the DMT325. Universally used for the purpose you intend to use it for, is. lapping waterstones. My only advice, is that if you have'nt lapped them in a while, or maybe not at all, definitely grid the stone with a pencil and use that as your guide to flatness.
