Thanked: 2027Hypothetical Question
If your entire razor rotation consisted of,15 Filly 14s,all in near mint condition, most N.O.S.
If you had all of them Pro honed to perfection, and all 15 were unused since being pro honed.
If you have as finisher hones,A Nakayama Kiita (SP) a Ozuku 100lv5,both with Nagura,a genuine Escher with rubbing stone,A Charnley,a Le grise coti and a le Vienntte ( do not know how to spell these words so pls forgive me)
If you used one razor each day,and the next the next day:I:E each razor would be used approx two times per/Mo.
If you could keep and use only one of the above stones to maintain the edges for the rest of your life,
Which stone would you choose?

Thanked: 13245The Escher,,,
Unless I could test each stone, then I would chose which ever I liked the best, but going in blind the Escher without a doubt, all the other stones are an unknown until tested, the Escher is as sure a bet as you get with a Natural IMELast edited by gssixgun; 04-13-2012 at 01:50 AM.

All joking aside I have no clue as I haven't used a Filli or an Escher, but both are highly regarded.
@Glen, hope you don't mind my joke.

Thanked: 2591Going in blindly the Escher sounds like the best choice.
The choice may change if all stones are available to be tested against each other.
