I personally would re-establish the bevel at 90 degrees to the shape that you want it to be and then regrind the bevel on a medium waterstone, or even faster, a medium india.

Whether you get to the bevel by continously chasing the one that's already there back, or you reshape the edge at 90 degrees and then redefine the bevel makes no difference as long as you know what you want and have the coordination to do it. I always breadknife frowns until i get the shape/line of the edge proper.

It is hard for me to tell from the second photo, but I think you may have a warp near the toe. It is possible (if it is a warp) that you will never hone past it (or it may require honing away a SIGNIFICANT portion of the otherwise usable steel).

I had one similar to this (only worse..it had a double wrinkle) and I opted to shorten the blade by a small amount and even then it required some advanced honing.

You may want to at least have someone else look at it for you to offer some real world assistance/suggestions?

Confucius say- man who breadknife razor eat crow sandwich.

Take up some of the offers for assistance. That razor doesn't deserve to be tortured to death.

Big thanks to all contributors here.
I have decided to try a rolling X stroke to establish the bevel
If this turns up more issues than I can fix, I will call on Havachat and see what can be done
    Cheers everyone

Admittedly not an expert. But my feelings are that people get too tied up in appearances. If you have a 20$ shave ready preowned razor that shaves well and you rescale, and polish, and straighten, and rehone you still have a $20 razor that now may or may not shave as well.
Remember the advice I was once given by an older women: Honey, Cute wears off real fast!
