    Yea, that does happen. Once you do get it honed out you could consider using a damp sponge or towel to clean the blade between strokes. That way it minimizes the chances of dinging it on the sink. Mine only goes under the running tap for the final rinse before drying. So far so good but I have dinged one razor by dropping it. Seems sooner or later you will ding a razor no matter what you do.

    My wife asked to use one to cut a "protein pill" out of her skin, she was very upset when I said "no, and if I ever find out that you have then I will be really pissed off", I did give her a D/E blade to use though.
    I am also fairly sure someone did something with one of my razors in my room at work, I went out to work, came back and discovered it had been cleaning day, strangely my razor seemed very dull.
