Thread: Shapton in Europe

Does anyone know where to buy Shapton stones in Europe? (Online shops)
Italy would be the best option for me, but anywhere within EU would work, otherwise customs fees would be terribly high

When you buy from outside EU your parcel is processed by customs and you have approximately to pay is: 5 euro for the procedure +21% VAT. Assuming that the european vendor pays VAT too, you can see that the cost that you have to pay from inside or ouside EU is approximately the same. Then if cost is the issue go where you find it.
What makes the difference is that italian customs procedure is slow, therefore when you buy inside EU you get your parcel in few days, while from outside it could take some weeks.
For EU vendors I suggest that you give a look to some razor or knife forums in Italy where you'll fina many people able to give you an answer.
