It is a fact that razors that are kept in Barber Shops for long periods of time can lose their ability to take a sharp edge. They are deprived of contact with women for long periods of time, sometimes decades. This causes the very edge of the blade to get soft and droopy. The only known method of restoring such blades is to transport them to a strip club, line them up against the wall facing the pole dancers, and give them time to realign their edge particles. Once the firmness of the steel is re-established, they can be sharpened and hold a very hard edge. Sometimes, however, they are only able to hold this edge for a minute or two.
