So anyone who read the first part of this knows that I honed for the first time yesterday. Today was the shave. While I cant say it was buttery smooth, it was partially dfs, partially bbs, and partially bad! At least I got the bevel set which is a big step for me. I think I need to drop down to the 8k for a few x strokes then on to the polishing stone again. All in all I'm happy with my first try! My face may not be but I am-lol! Big for step for me- big! Now all I have to do is polish it up a little bit make it smoother and I'm good to go. Thanks for everyone's help and for listening to my second rant in 2 days!
