Default Naniwa 12k Super; You were right Lynne

After reading all of the positive comments on the Naniwa 12k Super, including those my Lynne and Tom Blodgett, I finally had a chance to try one.

With only three straight razor shavers on the whole island of Taiwan, I was fortunate that Tom Blodgett invited me to visit him in Kaohsiing and try one for myself. I jumped on the high-speed train and visited Tom and honed two of my razors ending up with the
Naniwa 12k Super. In both cases I worked up to the 12k with the Shapton Pros and after the 12K did five strops of NanoCloth sprayed with 0.125 Micron CBN Spray by Ken Schwartz.

Like Lynne and Tom said .... both razors shaved like butter. Unusually smooth. Good shaves.

    Thanks Lynne and Tom.

I enjoy mine as well. I just received a Chorosa 1k and am very impressed. I have a whole set of Nanis and love it.

I want one too. I may wait to hit the Taiwan lottery.

Or I may order one very soon.

I love that stone. I just started shaving, and it's currently my only stone. I'm sure my technique is terrible, but it still does a yeoman's job. I'm using it to keep my blades fresh and put off sending them out until the nani 3 pack comes back in stock on SRD.

    Sounds like a good plan.

I've posed the question to MOST of the guys here that do this for a living: if you had to get rid of every finisher you had except one, which would you keep?

95% of them say the Nani 12k.
