Default Escher and / or Swaty?

    Hello,

today vintage Escher arrived. It is pretty small and narrow, so not too easy to work, but from what I can tell it improved the edge on a razor I had rated 9/10 with 10 or so laps.

I am just wondering whether it should be used after a 3-line Swaty or before. Or maybe I should use just one? Right now I think I'll go Escher after Swaty... and then follow up with CrO2.

BTW, I have heard that the best stones are actually smaller, as there is something about the geo make up of the veins that makes larger pieces inferior.

    Cheers

This does apply to coticules, I am not sure about Eshers. The story goes that in the coticule area an earthquake caused the coticule veins to become undulated.
