We officially use the metric system here in Canada, but our proximity to the States forces us to go back in time and get familiar with the imperial system. Actually I'm not sure about the size of Lynn's coticule and what I said was a joke, but I wouldnt' be surprised if it turned out to be true lol.
Just remember, if God wanted the world to use the Metric system, he wouldn't have given us the 12 apostles, He'd have given us the 10 apostles

If God wanted us to use a 12-based numeric system, He would have given us 12 fingers instead of 10

I must admit I'm fond of feet, inches and miles, but the metric system does seem to make more sense. I find it pretty funny how we here in the U.S. keep making resolutions to switch to the metric system but then it doesn't happen.

It's fun taking a U.S.-built car into Canada like I did last spring. The speed limit signs in PEI just say "90," and on my speedometer the only "90" is 90 miles an hour...

    Talk about your hijacked thread....

Sorry. It wasn't my intention to hijack it. I apologize for the breach in courtesy.
