Thanked: 0On The Edge Collectable Art & Cutlery, Canada's Largest Knife and Sword Store
This is him here. Thing is. He clearly advertises sharpening. I didnčt really see what he was doing until he was nearly done the second razor. But man Im kicking myself! I had a bad feeling as soon as I saw his prices of some his razors, and started talking to him. Oh well live and learn I guess. Seeing as I need to have the bivels reset should I maybe send them to straightrazordesign?? Seems like they are the best and I wondering if this needs some talent now? Thanks fellas for all the help.

Thanked: 43Sounds like your razors will need some time for the most part. It will take a while to get the bevels back to the correct angle. Do you have any pics of the razors now? It would help to see them so we can see the condition they are in.

We have a guy like that here at the fleamarket. I was talking to him and watched him clamp someone's Boker razor into a machine. My first instinct was to wrestle the razor away from him. He said "I bet you've never seen one done like this, huh?" I told him no, I had only seen them done correctly.
One time, in band camp, I shaved with a Gold Dollar razor.

Thanked: 993Thanks for mentioning me guys. Bob, glad you liked your blade.
I'm taking a bit of time off from honing and restorations. There is so much to do at our new home, and that's where my heart needs to be.
As far as the vendors section goes - I keep posting my ad, and then it all of a sudden dissapears. I've contacted mod upon mod and developer upon developer and no one can figure out what is happening. It's like a classifieds ghost doesn't like me or something!
Ah well. I'll get another ad up sometime in the future......after I paint the main floor and insulate the attic properly!
...I'm still up for meets though!
All the best,
Maxi (aka. Nate)
