Thread: taping razor before honing doesn't seem to work

So I taped the razor but now I can't even seem to sharpen any of the edge

i dont get it, it should work fine. try using duct tape. hopefully the honemeisters will soon chime in!

Neither have I but I have achieved the same results.

Maybe a cassette tape would work...................

I've got some detonating tape you could try, it sure will do something to the edge...

You simply need to use more pressure. Show that razor who's the boss.

now everybody knows thats just silly but I'll try that one and if it doesn't work I will use Lemur's detonating tape I wonder if it will get the pitting out
