I have one of those faces that grows whiskers, and it's been my go to inspection tool for razor edges for a while now.

    Thanks for looking.

Now if you're really handy you could get a lens blank and make your own loup. Grind glass or razors? it's all the same.

That's an idea, everytime I pick them up I get fingerprints on the lenses.

Cut a brush in half and drill a hole thru it, mount the lens. Oh wait,,,, poor brush..Never mind. Maybe the end of your wife's broom stick ? She won't notice and if she does you will need an eye patch not a loup.

I like that idea John. I wonder if you couldn't use the 2 large lenses correctly spaced in a tube. I like large lenses & hate the small size of triplets etc

Maybe, I like the large one, as it gives me a larger view area.
I have a bunch of them, so maybe I can construct something with PVC.

Size: 18.0 KB this is my loop. I admit it is a bit large to carry in my pocket but it does have its uses.

You can get a camera that goes in one of the lens socket that goes to your computer. I have one but really don't use it at the moment. I want to take pics in the future of the progress of razor honing from start to Finnish but just haven't found the time. This unit in the pic goes for a $144. Dollars, about the price of a mid rage dovo.
