Loop Options.
Not sure if I'm in the right part of the forum, but I wanted to share my loop option that I ran across. I had an old pair of binoculars, 20 + years, that I could not get to focus. A cheap pair, so I cannibalized it & used the lenses to view my razor edges. I'm quite happy & they seem as clear as my B&L 10X loop.
Thanks for looking.

I dont normally use a loop, but I do have a set of binoculars that haven't worked right for a long time. Guess its time to re-purpose.

Why not,,, it's good to use on new found razors & while honing.

I've got one of these, I was a chef for twenty five years so the honing of a razor was easy but on some of my blades it really helped to see what you've done, and what you need to do toget your blade up to par. 9 bucks too with a light

Thanked: 522widgetsupply.com has a bunch of ILLUMINATED jeweler's loupes. Get one with a light so you can actually see what you are looking at.
60x is great for inspecting bevels.
