HHT trick
I used some tweezers instead of pinching the hair with my fingers, works better for me...or am I cheating?

Yeah that's clearly cheating!
Use of fingers and some pain is the only way to go, otherwise you get "sissy hair" that will cut to easily.

Balance the hair on end. The hair should be able to be cleaved with the bottom half still standing balanced on end. Anything less is cheating.

May have written this before, but what you don't want to do is stand in front of your bathroom mirror holding the hair between thumb and forefinger. You guessed correctly ! Aimed at the reflection. Right into the finger.
and yes, it was sharpe enough!!
