Thanked: 28000 grit question
I'm working the pyramid and like the dogmatic approach. my question is this to help determine when I've nailed it and that is is it possible to get a smooth against the grain shave after stropping of course. I get smooth WTG and XTG but not ATG and wondering if its possible to get smooth, irritation free shaves ATG from an 8K. Thx

Thanked: 2Yes I think you might be right as the Dovo is my second razor and it seems to be more effective at a different angle than my first razor from bob's vintage razors which seems like it has a narrower spine. By the way I don't use tape but I'm not sure if he does.

You know, a razor with no edge gives the smoothest shave in the world.

Thanked: 177ATG is definitely doable off the 8k. My shave test is to do the fools pass straight off. If it tugs, it wasn't done.
