    I would definitely take that offer!!

    I was working with another Marine from Hansen last year. Similar problems and he never found anyone that honed razors. He finally bought hones, Nortons, but had mixed results. He rotated out before he got his razor shave ready.

    My last tour in Okinawa was 1971, with a first in late 1966. I looked at Hansen on Google Maps not long ago and can still pick out areas that were familiar.

    sorry for the late reply but damn in the 60's? haha. must have been really different then now. especially with all the libo restrictions they have out now.

    and yups PM sent and already mailed the SR out.

    just got the razor back! thanks for the honing. im able to use it again.

    there is a knife shop in the labyrinth that is Makishi Public market on Kokusai st. They have a HUGE selection of knives, stones and the like. Im not 100% sure, but I think they offer honing/sharpening services as well. Bought a sashimi knife from there, it has served me well for the past year or more.

    EDIT: If you need help finding it, ask any of the guys working the fish market in Makishi. They can take you there.
