Well, you can use it like a credit card for a one-off payment, but as for filling up your account for later use, I don't think so. Can you do that in other countries? Load your paypal with a card?

I dont know about that, but I know that you can request a payment from someone with an email address and as I have more than one I figured I could just request payment from one to the other and use the credit card.

Now THAT'S using your noggin! But you shouldn't even have to request money, just send money from your other account, if your credit card is attached.

So it turns out that my card is just an ATM card. So i gave my money to a friend who has a visa card and she sent it to me through paypal. The total charge was about 1500yen for the transfer. I am happy with the results.
