The newest in axe tech
I saw this online today and i have to say it is pretty impressive. For anyone with a wood stove or fireplace this would be really nice to have.

I have done some splitting before and while i enjoy physical labor the new level of efficiency that this provides is just hard to ignore.*Insert deep thought/profound statement here*

Lol!! No matter how the blade falls to create dissipation and whatever, you still have to start with a sharp edge. If anything, this might motivate more people to split their own wood causing those Norton's well past the $300 mark!
Add that to the price of that Axe (which isn't cheap either), and paying the neighbors kid to do it @ $12.00hr is still way cheaper lol!!David

I used to heat my house with wood, 5 cords of bone dry almond and madrone a year.
That tool would be worthless for hardwoods,JMOCAUTION

I was thinking that as I watched. I'd like to see him use it on the local gums that are sold here as firewood.
I think he might be onto something with the single bevel but I don't like how it rotates in the hand on contact. Ergonomics seem wrong that way.The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
