A collector was selling off some NOS stuff and I got it for right at half msrp at $140, I JUMPED ON IT! The finish and fit are what you would expect from a smaller company like Al Mar, very good.

I have yet to jump into the custom world like Bruno, but you never know. I don't mind paying for a custom as long as the quality is there. IMO, if the quality isn't there...I have no interest. This is how I look at my own blades I make as I expect them to be used, no matter if it's a razor or knife.
