First Cabin...
I like the thumb's positioning/pad/wide spot. If not too much trouble would you please post a photo looking down from top to better see the thumb's placement place?
I use a lot of thumb in using a petit paring knife.
From the edge's bevel looks like the blade has some girth/width. I like a heavy feeling of a heavy paring knife.

in the first pict where was not scale reference, on the last pict in the context, and in hand we can see exactly its size in comparison....All you will do without taking the time,
