    First Cabin...

    I like the thumb's positioning/pad/wide spot. If not too much trouble would you please post a photo looking down from top to better see the thumb's placement place?

    I use a lot of thumb in using a petit paring knife.

    From the edge's bevel looks like the blade has some girth/width. I like a heavy feeling of a heavy paring knife.

    Did you just cut and sharpen the alternative saw blade, or you did the forging steps?

    just cut, iam not equiped/trained for forging. I did not have any training for working steel-iron my cup of tea is wood-leather-red wine and good meal!

    yes Mike you know why?.....

    in the first pict where was not scale reference, on the last pict in the context, and in hand we can see exactly its size in comparison....
