Default My foray into custom blades!

Jeff Morgan is a custom knife maker in the San Diego area and I have been bitten by the custom knife bug! the first Two of these knives are neck knives! Both 440C steel one is satin finished and the other is mirror finished!
The third knife is also 440C steel with a satin finish! Its total length is 7 inches! the first is 5 1/4 inches and the second is 5 inches! The first and third are carved stag bone scales and the second is actual stag!

What kind of price range would a knife like these fall in to. If your at liberty to say of course.

This guy sells at a little over half of what such a knife would sell for! He would rather sell 2 now than wait 6 months for 1 to sell!

The first knife went for 90 US dollars, and the other 2 went for 107.75 US dollars each!

    Default I have been delinquent

Here are a couple more Jeff Morgan knives. He got tired of polishing steel and swore he would never do it again so now he dubs all his latest knives "Mountain Man Knives".
The fixed blade is 1095 steel and lignum vitae scales. the total length is 6 and a 1/2 inches. He calls it a broad end knife. I call it mine! The total length is 6 1/2 inches and it comes with the sheath. And yes, he did use a silver spoon to make the clip on the sheath. There is something of an artists touch to this knife but at the same time it is extremely user friendly.

The friction folder is 1085 steel. the scales are black paper micarta. Total length is 7 inches. I switch between one and the other for my EDC belt knife.

Very nice, I like the pocket clip. I've been thinking of how to make a pocketclip sheath. I'm not there yet but I'll make one yet.
