Well I am not sure I want to label myself a collector lol... I kind of amassed these over time. I have probably given away more to others but every single one of these blades has been used and are my "keepers." Some have been used harder than others, with the exception of the Bowie on the top left. Though it's got to be the best "feeling" knife I own, I just don't have it in me to take it out into "the field."

And yes - I can throw the throwers. It's kind of fun. Unfortunately I have lost my throwing ax... that was a blast!

With respect to the folders, I have discovered, just like handguns, I don't like safety's. Though the "pretty" SOG with fancy scales has assisted opening and it's built like a tank - the safety freaks me out. I could glue it open I guess - but that wouldn't do it for me so I never carry it anymore. But it is a great knife if you don't mind safety's.
