    What happened to the mate of that dog tag Carl? Mine are in my medal case. I don't carry them on me, though from your photo I can see the use of having something with blood type on it on your person.

    In this day and age at least in the US they wouldn't trust anything in your pocket. They would test you first.

    daily i have a pocket knife , small leather holder just big enough for lic ect , and a can of chew , $ , and keys if i go anywhere ..
    for work its jus the can of chew , everything else stays in a backpack in the work truck .. if i dont ill loose anything else ..lol

    Hi MIck. It's here with my other bits and pieces. There's a story behind each bit of memorabilia up here at my desk.

    I carry the dog tag for two reasons:

    (1) It's cool
    (2) It's motivation

    I clip the keys to my Aust Army water bottle that I use in the gym. It's the very same water bottle that 'Bombardier Schneider' used to throw into the pile of Recruit's water bottles when he decided to lead by example and join his recruits in their PT sessions while the other recruit instructors watched. It's motivation. Bombardier Schneider can't do what Bombardier Schneider did then, but what he can do is give it one hundred percent.
